APM Suspend and Resume Scripts

I would like to write some APm suspend and resume scripts (to turn onoff networking and dns daemons when entering and leaving suspend). Most of the documentation I've seen places the scripts in /etc/apm/. Does arch do this as well, or is there a seperate location?
