UPDATE: It's something to do with the VBox Preferences/Input and the menu Key and Auto Capture Keyboard business. I'm fumbling through getting around it. Any brilliant ideas welcomed.
AND: I've just today realized that I really should do what the console output of updating Virtualbox suggests and that's to run: vbox_build_module
Doing that helped a lot it appears. Tried to run it on the last update and it didn't go so I left it... Just updated to 2.1.4 and put: vbox_build_module
in terminal and it DID run.... did some kernel sync magic.... big improvment with VBox in dwm in my case. really nice now.

there's going to be a tip someone has I'd bet.
With VirtualBox running in a WM seems to freeze up sorta.
Until VirtualBox is Quit there's weird stuff happening.
You'll know what I mean if you've had the issue.
I've tried forcing 'float only' mode of course.
