Setting up a Game system.

I have this idea for a while, but i can't find myself know all the right tools for it.

I want to have a system, that allow me to launch all the emulating games I have, mainly NES, SNES, GB, GBC, and GBA. (big nintendo fans big_smile) in full screen.

ideal, I would have a linux base mini computer with all the emulator, and a font end that allow me search and select games. (with just my gamepad, or maybe with a USB IR remote.(At the best, no huge keyboard needed)) Just like a ultimate game console for old school games.

I also looking for a mini computer that will do the job, which at the  minimum, have a TV output, and sound output. (the less converted needed, the better.)

Did anyone have any idea what I am looking for?
feel free to any suggestion.

Thanks.

Re: Setting up a Game system.

I was thinking about doing the same thing with a computer back at home that's just sitting in the corner. My parents are currently throwing it out, which is quite a bummer. Still gonna do it though, but now I can think about using something much, much smaller to access the files on here. For controllers I was thinking about hacking one of my current SNES controllers into a usb connection.

The emulators would be snes9x, gameboyadvance, and maybe MAME. Not sure about GB/C or NES though.

For game selection I was thinking about writing a program or something.

Re: Setting up a Game system.

Thank you so much, WAHCADE is just what I am looking for, and it is great, and it is fast. And you can get every done by just a controller. Best front end for linux, and it is free too.

thank you so much edamar.

I bought a viako system for that.

The one I got is black though.
