hey im installing today arch linux before im using ubuntu and im install hal and i see icon on my dektop but i can't open cd im using xfce4 sony vaio VGN-NR38M

When im click on the icon my disc i have error icon is like (-) and see only 2 first character "Mo..." hm..?:)

I read you type make no sense
Maybe a screenshot is in place. And seriously read what you type, reread it again. A first grader has better grammar skills than you do. It sounds like you have a dialog box with an error message. Try to expand the dialog box so you can see the whole error.
