I usually go to OS News once a day or so, and to my surprise I see them make an announcement about our new ISO.
The best part is that the OS News staff had noticed a few Arch devotees there and asked the question "Why do you like Arch?"
The answers are definitely a great way of introducing people to ARch and encourage them to try it out

News about Arch's release is even on lwn.net - and that site doesn't deal with just any random news.

Man, I just wish I had bought Arch stock back in 2003 or so. I'd be getting rich about now. Oh, well...
The more people who come on board, the busier this place will be, which I suppose is good. My guess is that, with popularity, it can get harder to keep a project's original focus. Regardless, it's nice that people are coming to appreciate the fine thing that is Archlinux.

Many thanks to the OP for reminding me to read the frontpage news

Wow, I thought people around here were die-hard Arch evangelists. Those comments on OSNews made me want to start using Arch all over again. ![]()

It's also good to see no bashing of other distros in the comments. It was the 'spirit' of the Arch forums that convinced me to give it a try. cheers
