What is a file joining program? To join files cat file1 file2 file3 > joined_file would work but I doubt that is what you mean?

Actually that worked fine, thank you.  I forgot how simple this was under Linux.  The power of Linux never ceases to amaze me...

Someone just needs to make pipes, redirection, etc. for the GUI... then our plans for world domination will be complete (or pretty damn close to it)...
