Hey folks,
I'm sorry this question is not too OT for this forum, but since I do not find any help on the IBM sites nor any IBM workstations related forum, I'm sure that there are a lot of guys here who might know the machine I'm fighting with and can possibly help.
I'm desperately trying to equip my Intellistation with Arch, but this darn machine doesn't come to life. AC connected, the fans go up and keep running, the power LED keeps flashing, nothing happens. No reaction on the pwr button or keyboard, no matter what I try.
Strange enough, I just pulled the machine from under the table after roughly 3 weeks of not touching it (AC disconnected, of course). When I first connected AC power tonight, the machine came to life, went through POST and looked for an OS (which isn't there, only to go back to sleep in the next second and never wake up again.
Is my hardware broken or do I miss anything?
