Hi!
I am sharing my NTFS drive (i have NTFS-3G installed and configured) via samba. An XP client is connecting to the share. But i cannot delete files on the share. I can delete empty directories, but not files. I haad this working before, but i re-installed arch for ext4 and now this particular thing is broken.
Relevant section from smb.conf:
[Data]
path = /media/Data
valid users = kalpik
read only = no
writable = yes
P.S. I can delete files from the local PC.. Just not via samba.
Thanks!

i have seen this too, i am pretty sure it is the new samba 3.3.0 that does it
i can create folders and files, write to files but only delete empty folders (but not delete files)
if i set up the same kind of share to a folder in my ext3 file system all is ok
working on it now, if i find a solution i will post a reply

Thanks! Exactly same behavior here! EXT4 shares work fine!

I found no solution.
I posted a bug report on samba bugzilla: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6134
Perhaps this is a archlinux specific bug .. lets see.
