Dataone-BSNL Broadband?

I'm not able to connect to Dataone internet. I've followed this guide: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PPP … _with_pppd. Now even after calling:

pon dsl-provider

, I can't ping any site, it says Destination Net Unreachable. I've also tried installing software through pacman. But it is not able to connect to the servers. Looks like, I'm not connected to the internet.

Please help!
