I can't believe it, but after migrating all my computers to Arch, I've found something that is actually easier to do in Arch than Ubuntu.. 64 bit Flash!
pacman -S flashplugin
done.
I was banging my head against a brick wall getting Flash to work on 64 bit Ubuntu, when I did get it going it was buggy as you know what.
LOVE ARCH!

If that was a while ago, don't fault them
64-bit Flash used to be annoying as hell, since it wasn't really out (you had to use 64-bit nspluginwrapper around 32-bit Flash). Although I don't know if they have true 64-bit Flash yet, or when they'll get it... hurray bleeding-edge ![]()

apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree...
i guess its a little easier.
but i think the main thing thats easier in arch then debian and lots of other distros is creating packages. A pkgbuild is so simple to write and maintain. I think the only thing that might be simpler is gentoo, but it has its own set backs.
that and getting the most current version of any program (wine for example) is much easier because of arch's rolling releases.

Ditto, flash use to be a hell hole a few months ago!

Yeah I know about the nspluginwrapper, that was the worst thing ever but even with the native 64bit plugin it was buggy. The greyed out boxes were so common, there were a few tweaks to make it more stable but I was just pointing out that on Arch the only thing I had to do was install the plugin and I've had no problems as yet (touch wood!)
