Updating package list on the web page

Hi,
I'm just curious. I was trying to install emesene today, and I first tried finding it with pacman but it wasn't there. A few hours latter I tried again and now it found it.

I looked for it on the "Package Search" option in the home page, but it is not there.  Is it because it is just included in the repos, or was there an issue with my pacman?

I apologize if I sound too newbie. I'm just curious about how the package list works.

Thanks

emesene is in the [community] repo so you have to look at the AUR to see it, not the home page.   To search with pacman do "pacman -Ss emesene".
