Convert eps to jpg font issue

Hi.  I recently reinstalled to finally move up to 64.

I use gnuplot a lot.  I normally print files as eps.  Ocassionally I'll need/want to convert to jpg or gif for whatever reason.  I convert this with

convert graph.eps graph.jpg

My eps graphs look good in gv but the fonts in the jpg and gif look real bad.  Especially the jpg.  They don't look like the eps picture at all.  I'm not sure if they used to look better or I'm just finally trying to fix this problem.   Is there a font or other package I should install?  I do have gsfonts.  Maybe there's an option with convert that will help things.  (changing the quality doesn't help)

Re: Convert eps to jpg font issue

I've always had poor looking vector->raster conversions with IM, as well. Hopefully somebody has a good solution.
