[SOLVED] Gtk theme reset on bootup

Hi

I have a minor problem: after the bootup the Gnome's theme gets reset to the default one. Once I open the gnome-appearance-properties dialog, it restores itself (with no action required from me). If I reboot instead of the compete poweroff the problem does not appear, which puzzles me. I thought it was something compiz-related, but after I have disabled the fusion-icon from startup the problem still persists.

Some time ago I had the same problem on a different computer.
Services in rc.conf are:
DAEMONS=(syslog-ng network netfs crond alsa dbus hal fam cups gdm)

Thank you for any help

Re: [SOLVED] Gtk theme reset on bootup

1. Is the theme set in ~/.config/gtkrc-2.0 or ~/.gtrkrc-2.0 after you set it with Gnome?
2. Does this happen when starting with a fresh configuration, e.g. backing up your gnome dirs and see if it works without any configuration options?

Re: [SOLVED] Gtk theme reset on bootup

Thanks a lot!
I had no .gtkrc-2.0, and in .config/gtkrc-2.0 there were just gtkfilechooser settings, so I added
gtk-theme-name="Nova-Arch"
to .gtkrc-2.0.

UPD: works with no problems after explicitly specifying in .gtkrc-2.0:
gtk-theme-name="Nova-Arch"
gtk-icon-theme-name="OxygenRefit2-orange-version"
gtk-cursor-theme-name = "aero"
