[SOLVED] openoffice toolbar disappears

i installed openoffice, but every time i highlight any of the buttons or menus, the rest of the buttons on the toolbars disappear and the only one left showing is the one that my mouse was hovered over last.  im running kdemod 4.2 and have the gtk-qt-engine installed.  any ideas?

nvm, i uninstalled gtk-qt-engine and it fixed it
