[SOLVED] Strange Terminal window decoration behavior

Hello,

I just installed Archlinux and want to use the xfce-terminal as main konsole.

Now if I start Terminal with window decoration enabled ("Show window borders" is checked), the window appears but the decoration is invisible. After maximizing and resizing the Terminal window the decoration is usually shown, however with strange graphical errors.

log shows no Error messages hmm does anybody have an idea what this could be caused by?

cu halcyon

EDIT : Fluxbox and KDE4.2 show the same strange behaviour hmm

EDIT2 :

The problem was caused by an option in xorg.conf. Apperently Terminals window decoration gets buggy if <Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"> is set. Commenting the line out solved the problem (but caused loss of performance when using compiz-fusion).

Re: [SOLVED] Strange Terminal window decoration behavior

I am using an Intel HD X4500. Drivers are those provided by the "standart" (e.g. non-testing) repositories.
