[solved]problem with update on compiz-fusion

hi,

i run compiz fusion as a standalone wm. prior to the update today, i had right click configured to open compiz-deskmenu, so when i right clicked the desktop, the menu opened, but if i right clicked on an incon in pcmanfm, i would get the file options.

since the update, all keybindings were lost! i re set them all, but now, no mater where i right click, i get compiz-deskmenu!

any ideas how to fix this?

thanks

Re: [solved]problem with update on compiz-fusion

The new compiz update moved the "commands" tab out of the general options menu. So what you need to do is go into teh commands menu and set "compiz-deskmenu" as command line 0. Also, make sure to remove "button 3" from the "button bindings" tab on "run command 0"

Now go to Viewport switcher>Desktop based viewport switching, and change "core" to "commands" in the plugin initiaion actions thingie. Right below that add "run_command0_key".

So basically, the only difference in this new setting is that "core" needs to be changed to "commands". That should do it for you, hope it helps. Let me know if that didnt make sense and ill try to re-explain it smile
