Problems starting Sauerbraten with options

Hey all,
I have installed sauerbraten and it works well, with the command

sauerbraten-client

. But this command doesn't accept parameters. So i wanted to start it with:

/opt/sauerbraten/bin/linux_client

but it doesn't work:

init: sdl                                                 
init: enet                                                
init: video: mode                                         
init: video: misc                                         
init: gl                                                  
Renderer: GeForce 9300 GE/PCI/SSE2 (NVIDIA Corporation)   
Driver: 2.1.2 NVIDIA 180.22                               
Rendering using the OpenGL 1.5 GLSL shader path.          
could not load texture data/notexture.png                 
could not find core textures

The file notexture.png is in /opt/sauerbraten/data

Edit: strange. I tried it again  and it worked.

Edit 2: After a reboot, it doesn't work again.

I am also having problems with this, no matter how i launch the game it wont load any textures.....which actually makes the gameplay look rather interesting. Any help would be appreciated.

This is easily fixed, you need to run linux_client from the parent directory, so:

$ pwd
/opt/sauerbraten

$ ./bin/linux_client

Then it should run nicely for you.

Oh, and by the way, this is my first week of using arch (from using ubuntu), and I'm loving arch very much so far
