error: scriptlet failed to execute correctly

I followed this guide - http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ker … rom_Source

$ sudo pacman -U kernel26-my-2.6.28-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz
loading package data...
checking dependencies...
(1/1) checking for file conflicts                   [#####################] 100%
(1/1) upgrading kernel26-my                         [#####################] 100%
>>> Updating module dependencies. Please wait ...
error: scriptlet failed to execute correctly

I have no clue why it is not working, any ideas?

Re: error: scriptlet failed to execute correctly

What is in your install scriptlet?  From the wiki page you will need module-init-tools for sbin/depmod

Re: error: scriptlet failed to execute correctly

Well, something fails in your install script...  Try running the commands manually to find out what it is.

Re: error: scriptlet failed to execute correctly

I think the wiki is flawed in some way - http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ker … rom_Source

Anyways I installed this kernel from AUR - http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=23467 with no problem. My boot time became 5 seconds faster with optimized config for the kernel.
