Best virtualization?

I just discovered virt-manager in AUR, a great app! Just have to figure out some quirks first (bridge my wifi card etc) and try it later. I only just now found out about kvm, hadn't thought about it before. kvm emulates a full system AFAIK, like qemu, which is "slow". Paravirtualized is faster, but needs the guest to be paravirt-enabled (rightly configured kernel etc).

Has anyone benchmarked kqemu vs kvm vs paravirt? I can only find a several year old benchmark which doesn't say much.

I haven't actually benchmarked but I have used kvm and VirtualBox and I can't tell a difference in speed. I currently use VirtualBox for its graphics acceleration abilities (although limited).
