Hey guys,
I just installed Openbox since I'm a bit fed up with kwin's slow speed; I'd like to run openbox-kde but it doesn't appear as an option in kdm. I looked at the kdmrc file (I don't know if that was the right place) but there seemed to be no place to add this as an option. Where can I get this added to my kdm?
Thanks.

its simply not needed... start kde, go to systemsettings -> default applications and chose openbox as Window Manager.
Openbox/KDE works perfectly apart from one single issue with kickoff menu, that doesnt get focus without clicking it again.

He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.

You are amazing! and so is my desktop now!
I totally expected a more stripped-down openbox look but I'm very pleased that it practically looks the same as with kdm! Now all that's left is to find a good openbox/gtk theme that meshes well with kde and to rebind my keyboard shorcuts.
