Weird mouse scrolling issue

After the most recent system update I did, my mouse wheel is very messed up.  In all applications it doesn't seem to work at all, but I've since found out that it will work (oddly enough) if I'm clicking down on the mouse wheel at the same time.  Has anyone else had this happen before or have any ideas what might be causing it?

Thanks!

Re: Weird mouse scrolling issue

Console or X?
If the former, /etc/conf.d/gpm please. If the latter, /etc/X11/xorg.conf please.

Re: Weird mouse scrolling issue

In X, specificially using KDE 4.2 if it's relevant (although GTK and other non-QT apps have the same issue).  The Xorg.conf looks right as it does have "ZAxisMapping 4 5 6 7"set up.  Since I don't have a horizonal wheel, I'm going to try getting rid of the "6 7" part and see if that changes anything.

Is there anyway to list what updates you performed lately so I can see what might have been the culprit?

Edit:  Duh, pacman.log... *smacks forehead*

Re: Weird mouse scrolling issue

Ok, so I checked through the last few days of updates.  The only thing I can really think of that looks like it might have caused an issue is a Kernel update.  Nothing has really touched X in any way (although there was a set of KDE updates, but I installed those after the issue occurred in hopes that it would resolve it).  I can still post xorg.conf if you really want, but considering it hasn't changed pretty much since I re-installed Arch a month ago and it was working up until now I doubt it's the culprit.  The strangest part is that the scrolling still does work if I click the wheel down.

I'm going to attempt a Kernel downgrade and see if that helps.
