Hello. I would like to know how multi window console application developed? I mean take IRSSI for example, its a console application but it have at least 3 different areas (I maybe wrong, used it few times): 1. The chat Window, 2. user list (trough script I think), and 3. Typing area.
Its in console but have separated. I don't want to mess with GUI.
So please share the idea behind Multi-Window console applications!
Thanks!

Irssi uses ncurses:
flack 2.0.6: menu-driven BASH script to easily tag FLAC files (AUR)
knock-once 1.2: BASH script to easily create/send one-time sequences for knockd (forum/AUR)

You mean it runs in one window but this window is subdivided? Ncurses makes it pretty easy to do this.
