[resolved]pkg version rules

nvidia 180.29-10 installed by abs @ myself, but `pacman -Su` why ask me upgrade to 180.29-3..? its 10<3 ?

ps: the arch-release packages its some lag.. like pidgin(importance for an protocol not working when new version), epdfview(new version-0.1.7 before 5 day ago, but its first update after 2year ago, so importance too i think) ...

It's happening because the 'force' switch is enabled in the PKGBUILD. The developers needed to revert back to .29 from .35 because of a serious upstream bug. The simplest way to deal with this is to add nvidia and nvidia-utils to the IgnorePkg line in /etc/pacman.conf.

Yes, when will the new version of epdfview be added?

Flag pkg out-of-date and wait. If you can't wait, use ABS to update it yourself.
