[Solved] Mouse select in console (yakuake)

Hello everyone,

Since the recent pacman update I have performed, I have noticed a change in clipboard select in yakuake.

Previously I could select the entire word/phrase separated by spaces (e.g. 1234567890.0987654321 - a double click would previously select the entire phrase, while now it would select each side sparate by the dot, depending where I click). Is there any setting I could change which affects this?

I tried googling about this but without much luck.

I get per-side selection of that phraise in Firefox as well. I suspect that this is not related to yakuake, but rather to xorg's clipboard/input handling. Can you check what packages were updated when this behavior changed for you? That might help eliminate/confirm that it is xorg configs that you need to look at.

I noticed the behaviour recently too. To change it, edit your Konsole profile. Settings -> Edit Current Profile -> Advanced. Under "Mouse Interaction", you'll see a list of character that will separate the double click selection. Just remove the '.' from the list smile
