f-spot and RAW files?
Are you able to open RAW files in Arch version of f-spot?
I can import jpegs but my orf files are not visible.
Is it Arch package fault?

have you tried ufraw?
at least it will give you the possibility to open them with gimp i think...

Ruben has been working on RAW support in F-Spot in his GSoC project, see his final report here. The report includes a link to his public git repo, try it out!
