Audio apps don't work on my account

Hello, I've got problem with audio applications - they don't want to work on my user account. When I start Xmms or MOC nothing happens (they don't show). After yesterday update Exaile, Totem, Rhytmbox and even Gnome Volume control applet stopped work too. Looks like only mplayer still works. On the root or new account, which I've created for test, everything works fine, so I really don't know what going on ... I'm member of audio and sound groups. 

Anybody can help?

check alsamixer to see if using pc speaker or sound card. Check wiki to reset pc speaker to load last.  It worked for me.

As I said I've got sound in mplayer and on other accounts (and also disabled pc speaker some time ago) so I'm afraid it has nothing to do with my problem (it's perhaps something wrong with my account but I don't know what).
