Okay... this is starting to get on my nerves. I love linux, I love arch, but i've noticed since I switched to KDE 4.2 a lot of things tends to break everytime there's a new update of... well everything?!
I solved the issue when firefox started maximized with no borders by deleting my .mozilla directory (yay all settings lost).... no worries, I had backups sort of. But now kwrite is showing the same sympthoms.
And this my friends is the biggest issue with open source in general... whos the blame? the application? the library? the engine? the distro?
Okay enough bitching
As you can see i'm not a guy who makes a thread everytime there's a problem.... but I don't have the time googling for hours like I used to, main issue here is to exactly what I would be searching for?
Any ideas? What logs should I post?
Thanks guys

Well, first off, you can tell us which window manager you use.

Unfortunately, I have no solution but I can verify that this occurs for me with Gwenview. I run KDEmod 4.2.1 with Compiz. I didn't see this problem occur when I used KWin, at least for the brief few weeks when 4.1 just came out when I did not have Compiz installed.

If it's Compiz, check this.
