After the last upgrade from xfce4.4 to xfce4.6, my settings menu is almost gone. The screenshot below shows me what I can change. I think the problem is xfconf (new configuration manager). I've tried cleaning out my last session, that didn't make any difference. I created a new user account, but that didn't make any difference either.
How can I fix it, i want to change my fonts, theme, mouse cursor etc.

I had simular when I upgrading while 4.6 was still in testing.
I assume you have done a system restart to allow xfce to refresh itself.
Sometimes nothing beats a fresh install of Arch, xfce4, etc to rid the system of old conflicting settings.
Sorry I can't help more

You need to install the Xfce Settings Manager.

I'm having the same problem (but in the PPC version of Arch). I had to compile the xfce settings manager (because it wasn't in the PPC repos), but I can't get anything to actually take effect (the icons, cursor, gtk style, etc won't load upon changing in the settings). Curious if x86 works for you upon installing the settings manager?
