Problems regarding Kernel 2.6.28 / 2.6.27 and ACPI

Hello guys,

i ran into serious trouble running the 2.6.28 Kernel. At first i thought - okay, perhaps there is an upstream inconsistency or whatever.  So I waited for some bugfixing-releases. But as i today have seen, there is no obvious fix for my problem. So i am a bit baffled.

Hardware: Toshiba Satellite 1130

Problem:
With newer Kernel > 2.6.27 the Laptop just hangs after a second of booting the Kernel, showing some weird memory mapping messages. Booting with Kernelparameter vga=773 results in a black screen, while my laptop hangs.

Temporary fix: acpi=off or acpi=ht does the trick for "simply" booting the box

I just can't figure out by myself where exactly the problem lies.

So i pasted here the dmesg of 2.6.28 booting (with acpi=ht) and dmesg of 2.6.27 working as it should:

http://paste.ubuntuusers.de/raw/394425/

(because i found no way to attach the files to my Post directly, i posted it @ ubuntuusers.de wink )

If needed: here is the output of lspci

http://paste.ubuntuusers.de/raw/394427/

Perhaps someone provides a solution or gives me a hint :]

Thanks in advance!
