Lost Keyboard Functionality - Encrypted Root on Lvm

Wondering if someone could possibly point me in the right direction please...

I have just done a fresh installation following this guide at the wiki - http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sys … -crypt#LVM
I followed the short version at the bottom of the page.
My setup is
sda5 -> /boot
sda6 -> lvm

When rebooting I am presented with the option to enter the LUKS passphrase, however I don't have any keyboard functionality.
I did the install with 2009.02-core-x86_64 ISO.

I have tried this before with the 2008 ISO and all went just fine, however, when I updated my system and rebooted it actually did the same thing.

Anyway, any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: Lost Keyboard Functionality - Encrypted Root on Lvm

Just tried another fresh install on standard partitions (no lvm)

sda5 -> /boot
sda6 -> swap
sda7 -> / (encrypted)\

Asks for password at boot but no keyboard functionality.
Also tried to plug in another keyboard...same thing!
