I feel quite stupid because or I'm missing something obvious or there is some missconfiguration with my system. I have a new kernel 2.6.28, so ALSA should be built in, and I also installed alsa-lib alsa-utils and even alsa-oss (sth like this), but I still have no aplay amixer or alsamixer commands.
Anyone has an idea?
Regards,
Mateusz F.

Ok, I solved it by installing gnome-alsamixer, still I don't know where is alsamixer ^^

bp:~$ pkgfile alsamixer
extra/alsa-utils
To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.

Yeah... your PATH may be mucked up if you installed alsa-utils but did not get alsamixer.
