Hello,
after updating my arch system yesterday resuming from suspend to RAM does not work anymore (which worked like a charm for a long, long time now), any help on this would be greately appreciated.
Edit: The symptoms: Acer C110 (integrated Intel 855GME graphics) with standard arch linux install (nothing from /extra) suspends fine, then on resume the suspend-LED goes to green and that was it - black screen, no HD activity, no reaction to keyboard input (switching to VT or something like that) - nothing. Only hard reboot works.
During the update a new kernel version and new pm-utils package have been installed (pacman.log):

Pm-utils should log its errors if set up properly. Did you check for logs?

EDIT: After further searching this forums I found a thread where similar issues were solved (workaround) by removing the 'autodetect' hook from mkinitcpio.conf - tried this - worked fine, tabletPC is resuming back without problems now.

Then what you are using is the same as the fallback kernel, not sure if that can break something else.

Grep your pacman log, roll back to the old package, test it, and compare the suspend logs. I think it's best to work from there, the log itself doesn't seem to tell much.

Assuming with 'last package' you are talking about kernel26 - tried this right now and installing 2.6.28-5.1 seems to work only if I use the force option due to various '/lib/firmware/...' does exist in filesystem-errors - I did not dare to do this as this is my only working system at this time...
