OSS4 and jack-audio-connection-kit

Is there a way to make them work together? I know I can start jack with -doss, but then when I start ardour, it says it couldn't find any devices.

I don't know, maybe recompiling a package or maybe there's another solution...

I'm not really sure, I tried this as well some weeks or months ago, but Ardour doesn't seem to like OSS in general.. Maybe you find some information about it in the Ardour forums. Jack's OSS support might be good, you can try that out by some simple action like directly connecting the inputs with the outputs in qjackctl and record the output with jack-capture (is in the AUR). In case the output quality is fine, it's definitely only because of Ardour.
