OSS4 headphones dont mute speakers

After reading another thread about OSS I decided to give it a try.....wow am I pleased I did! there is night and day between the quality of sound I get now.

Problem I'm having though is when I plug in my headphones I still get sound from my laptop speakers. I need to open ossxmix to change from Front to Input.
Does anyone know how I can make it change automatically?

It's a bug. OSS has problems doing this change automatically on certain hardware, especially these "HD Audio" boards found it many laptops.
