flash drive + Arch, and Windows

This week I got a little problem with grub on my computer and I needed a live-cd, because I didn't have any media to burn I installed arch on a flash drive and re-installed grub. now I'm unable to use the flash drive on windows XP, I have it with a ext2 partition with arch (sdb1) and a fat partition for data storage(sdb2) that is unaccessable.

Re: flash drive + Arch, and Windows

It's another great strength of Windows, it sees only first partition on flash drives, unless you do some strange magic which doesn't always work - google for more info. The solution would be to put the storage partition first.

Re: flash drive + Arch, and Windows

Thanks for the answer, I will `dd` the partiton, redo the partitions, and `dd`everything back again - poor little drive -
Hopefully it will work
