[SOLVED] roblems with installing cairo-dock-svn from AUR...

Hi all,

I'm trying to install cairo-dock-svn from AUR, using yaourt. After confirmation of the PKGBUILD (which basically pulls SVN), the script stops at

Determining latest svn revision...

After a while, this message comes out:-

svn: OPTIONS of 'http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/cairo-dock/trunk': Could not read status line: Connection reset by peer (http://svn.berlios.de)

Is this a connection issue with the SVN server, or something else? The comments on  http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=15730 seem to indicate others were successful in building this package, so I'm leaning towards the former, but confirmation from a non-noob would be nice.

Thanks, in advance.

Edit: Solved. It was a connection issue. Thanks to FrozenFox for his quick response.

Re: [SOLVED] roblems with installing cairo-dock-svn from AUR...

Seems to be a server issue, it's lagging out in the same place for me too wink

I think I have a decent built i686 of cairo-dock-svn lying around, if you'd like me to send it (assuming I do have it -- I'll have to double check). (I hope I do, because the last svn I tried of cairo-dock was horribly buggy to the point that it wouldn't even load. The one I have loads, but it is also pretty buggy. Worth it over the repo version though imo).

Alternatively, normal cairo-dock is available in the official repos.

Thank you, i'll try again some time tomorrow. No need to trouble yourself.

I've been using the SVN version all the way on my Ubuntu install, so I've gotten attached to some of the features, notably OPENGL ACCELERATION!!!

I will leave this open, and mark solved when I've successfully managed to install.
