I have turned off xfce4-panel in favor of stalonetray and tint2. I also want to start claws-mail and pidgin, but I want them to start in the tray.
As of now claws-mail and pidgin start unhidden. How can I make them start in the tray? They always did so when I used Openbox/PekWM.
Also, it seems like xfce takes longer to start now. Is there something I may have messed up? I find XFCE's session stuff to be very confusing. I'm used to autostarted apps being listed in one nice text file, so this is pretty new to me.
