lib32-dbus-core upgrade fails due to presence of conclicting files.

I just had an upgrade of my x86_64 system fail with the following errors:

(20/20) checking for file conflicts                 [#####################] 100%
error: could not prepare transaction
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
lib32-dbus-core: /opt/lib32/usr/lib/libdbus-1.so exists in filesystem
lib32-dbus-core: /opt/lib32/usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.3 exists in filesystem
lib32-dbus-core: /opt/lib32/usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.3.4.0 exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

Is it safe to delete the three highlighted files above (actually, the first two are symlinks to the third)?

This thread answers all the 'exists in filesystem' questions:

OK.  Thanks.  I think that answered my question.
