Tint2's tray doesn't work

I installed the tint2-svn package on AUR, and I configured it, but when I launch tint2, I got those errors:

Invalid option: "systray_padding", correct your config file
Invalid option: "systray_background_id", correct your config file

All others functions works, but not the systray... I have the lastest version, so at this point, I don't know what to do...

Here's my tint2rc:

Re: Tint2's tray doesn't work

Tint2 has a systray yes, since a while. Only in SVN though, but since the developer already called the documentation PDF 7.0, I guess he's quite close to releasing 7.0.

The system tray does work for me, but it shows graphical corruption (and fails to update sometimes, too). Frankly, I've grown so fond of my all-text no-icons desktop layout that the system tray annoyed me more than anything else tongue.

Froli: did you try one of the six (!) configuration examples that the source comes with?

You can pull them from online SVN too, if you want.

Re: Tint2's tray doesn't work

@ B: Could you just paste your tint2rc please? We already know that your's works!

But basicaly, my tint2rc is the same that the one in the tint2 google code page, I just changed colors and things like that, and put default tray settings... It should work..

Re: Tint2's tray doesn't work

As I said I threw out the system tray, sorry.

What SVN revision are you using? I have revision 69, which is the latest. The system tray options got recognised. I removed the systray options from my config file alltogether.

I can tell you for sure one of the two first configuration samples in the SVN code will give you a system tray though.

Re: Tint2's tray doesn't work

Still doesn't work! I think I'll just wait for the stable 0.7 version. Even more if you tell me that the tray is buggy... I'll stay with my arch themed bmpanel for a while. tongue

Re: Tint2's tray doesn't work

I stopped using tint2 due this annoying error. Hope it gets a fix soon, as I liked tint2.
