[SOLVED] keyboard doesn't repeat some keys

Hi all!

I have a little but annoying problem: the left and down arrows on the keyboard don't repeat.
This happens only in X, with driver evdev, and I really can't understand what's the problem.
It doesn't happen with my user only, but, e.g. in kdm (so launched by root) doesn't work either.
Can you guys help me?

i solved reading this guide. i had to make some changes to my xorg.conf, like removing the keyboard configuration.
