Wireless connection doesn't get registered in router.

I'm using a broadcom wifi card...one of the ones (BCM4328?) that has to be powered by the broadcom-wl drivers out of the AUR.  I've noticed that whenever I get connected (and can browse the internet even), I don't show up in the router dhcp client log.  This is unlike XP where my computer name, IP, etc etc all show up.  Normally I'd say this is a good thing except where I'm at right now, they require you to get connected and then they redirect all HTTP traffic to a router-login page- you can't browse normal until you sign in.  In Arch though, it never even tries to redirect me and I can never browse.  I'm reckoning it's because the router doesn't even know I'm there (based off my experience looking at the logs at home).  Any ideas for a solution?
