[SOLVED]Wicd does not connect to wireless network.

hello,

A few days ago I installed wicd. But I cant get it working correctly. I can login at open acces points and my wired network, but when I try to login at a WEP encrypted network it seems that I cant get an IP adress from the AP. When I tried to login with iwconfig and dhcpcd I succeeded immediately.

Any suggestions??

Really? Try some logs...

This is really starting to annoy me, be helpful a little and post some relevant information so someone can come along and see if they know anything. Just telling us something doesn't work, doesn't help. This is a rant for another time...

in case you really want to know, look in /var/log

Thank you for your quick reply,
Im sorry I havent posted any logs or something. I understand this can be quite annoying.
But this shows up in my log when I try to connect:

2009/03/23 00:02:40 :: Connecting to wireless network linksys
2009/03/23 00:02:40 :: Putting interface down
2009/03/23 00:02:42 :: Releasing DHCP leases...
2009/03/23 00:02:42 :: Setting false IP...
2009/03/23 00:02:42 :: Stopping wpa_supplicant and any DHCP clients
2009/03/23 00:02:42 :: Flushing the routing table...
2009/03/23 00:02:42 :: Generating psk...
2009/03/23 00:02:42 :: Attempting to authenticate...
2009/03/23 00:02:42 :: Putting interface up...
2009/03/23 00:02:43 :: Running DHCP
2009/03/23 00:02:43 :: wlan0: dhcpcd 4.0.12 starting
2009/03/23 00:02:43 ::
2009/03/23 00:02:43 :: wlan0: broadcasting for a lease
2009/03/23 00:02:43 ::
2009/03/23 00:03:13 :: wlan0: timed out
2009/03/23 00:03:13 ::
2009/03/23 00:03:13 ::
2009/03/23 00:03:13 :: DHCP connection successful
2009/03/23 00:03:13 :: Connecting thread exiting.

It looks like (correct me if I'm wrong) that there is something wrong with the autentication.
Here is my automatic generated configuration file. Maby someone sees anything strange?....
thanks in advance

SOLVED; I must be pretty blind. When I searched the forum for unformation, I came accross this post:

Changing the driver did the trick roll
