[SOLVED] Boxee - Fast Video, No Sound

Hi guys,

I'm new to Arch and must say, I'm loving the couple of days I've had with it so far.

I thought I'd ask here first before going over to the boxee forums incase any of you guys have had the same problem as me.

I've used AUR to compile boxee from source. Everything went well, boxee works. However, when I try and watch a video, the video looks to be stuck in fast forward mode and no audio is produced either.

Now, googling for this indicates issues with pulseaudio. However, I don't have it installed. Any ideas on what I can do to try and get boxee to play videos correctly?

I've solved this;

If anybody gets the same problem, change the sound setting in boxee back to analog rather than digital.

Amazingly enough, this fix still works as of today. Thanks for figuring this out, as it was driving me nuts since XBMC works just fine with digital-out set, and it would have been the last thing I tried while getting Boxee to work with Arch and HDMI.
