I installed fuse, but there is no fuse group? help!!

I was following the Wiki to install sshfs, then I need add myself to fuse group, then surprisingly, there is no Such group!

root ~ #  gpasswd -a kevin fuse
unknown group: fuse
gpasswd: Permission denied.

Help please.:(:(

Have you tried creating a group and adding yourself to it?

Create group:

groupadd fuse

Add to group:

usermod -aG fuse kevin

Also, try

cat /etc/groups

to list all of the groups on the system - it might reveal something.

thanks for the quick reply.
In the end, I don't even need to add myself to fuse group, everything still works out fine!
I guess someone need to update the Wiki about SSH, to get rid of the instruction of add self to fuse group.
