default sound card

hello all! help me please
i have ac97 sound and a web camera genious with microfone. Everytime i boot with camera plugged in - skype and sound in flash don't work.
i use alsa and kdemod4.

Need more information if we are to help you such as your rc.conf, any other soundcards present, error messages...?

Try the Other Languages forum too perhaps there is a russian/georgian/ukrainian speaker there?

And, do an lsmod after you boot the PC without the camera plugged in, plug it in, and do another lsmod.
