[SOLVED] Dell XPS M1530 wifi not completely working

I installed arch on my XPS M1530 with relatively little hassle about three weeks ago. I had no need for wifi back then. Now, I do, and it is not working. I followed the wiki instructions, shown here with my output:

[01:09 PM][root:/home/redscare]# modprobe iwl4965
[01:09 PM][root:/home/redscare]# ifconfig wlan0 up
[01:09 PM][root:/home/redscare]# iwconfig wlan0 essid "******" key ********** --> sorry for being paranoid
[01:10 PM][root:/home/redscare]# dhcpcd wlan0
wlan0: dhcpcd 4.0.12 starting
wlan0: broadcasting for a lease
wlan0: offered 192.168.1.50 from 192.168.1.1
wlan0: acknowledged 192.168.1.50 from 192.168.1.1
wlan0: checking 192.168.1.50 is available on attached networks
wlan0: leased 192.168.1.50 for 86400 seconds

Then, I try to unplug my ethernet and cannot ping anything, neither my router's ip, or google.com.
Please help me, and thank you in advance.

P.S. I have yet to try ndiswrapper, but I would prefer not to use it anyway. If I need to I will though.

Solved, please close.
Essentially, eth0 needed to be down in order for wireless to work.

Please add a [solved] in the title so people having the same problem can see it with the search function

Purely out of curiosity, are you sure that you need iwl4965, and not iwl3945?

I've got the same laptop and wireless works perfectly.  Even while eth0 is up.
