Arch Linux Pens

I had some pens made in Sky Blue, with

Arch Linux
A simple, lightweight Linux distribution
http://archlinux.org

Laser engraved on the barrels.
You can order them while they last @ http://archlinux.us

$5 each. Only 100 available. ----- now only 90.
$7 each for international shipping. (if some outrageous shipping occurs, I am going to reserve the right to adjust shipping -- but from what I can tell, this should cover almost everywhere I've looked in Europe)
$1 from each pen sold will be donated to ArchLinux.org

These are very nice pens, heavy.  Just thought I'd share for those interested.

EDIT: Had a conversation with Dusty, and after some consideration I don't really mind shipping outside the usa .

So, I guess I can ship to outside the US if :
[b]on international shipping
1. people pay the shipping AND insurance (if they want it insured)

unless I am missing something on the simplicity of mailing internationally ... it's never been simple/or cheap when I've done it before. wink
2nd edit:
ok........it DOES appear it's easier than I thought....... no paperwork for it if it's under $400 and under 16 oz.   wink
also appears to me that shipping is approx $2 - $3 to ship to europe..at least the locations i've checked so far.  Alaska and Hawaii appear to be the same rates for letters as everywhere else in the usa..... so far as I can tell so far.

Re: Arch Linux Pens

I want one of those pens. I need a new, good pen for college. Unfortunately, I don't have a credit card/debit card/paypal. Do you only accept those? sad

That pen looks cool, so sorry you only ship to the 48 continental states.

Re: Arch Linux Pens

Wow, that pen is awesome.  I also need a new pen for college.

P.S. Will you be getting any more case badges?  One of those would be an excellent replacement for my ubuntu badge.

Re: Arch Linux Pens

any way you can find out what it would cost to ship it outside the US? Not talking about each and every country but, like, average price for europe, etc.

Approx $2 -$3 more to ship.  I checked UK/France. Other areas may vary. I'd prefer to check on a case by case basis though.

Re: Arch Linux Pens

Try this tool for estimating the postage. I feel bad for Crouse being inundated with a bunch of requests for shipping calc. He'll probably verify it himself after you make a purchase, but if you're just curious as to whether or not its worth it, try here:

Re: Arch Linux Pens

Shipped out 1/10 of what I had .... wink  (ok, thats only 10, but that only leaves 90 left)  smile

I'm going to say for all International stuff, $7 each. Just to make it easy, and I think that should cover it.
If you want insurance, that's on you, it would be extra.
So if it arrives in 1,000 pieces, don't come lookin at me tongue They leave here in good shape smile

Already got mine in the mail yesterday.  Very nice pens and already had a couple of comments on it while using it in meetings today.

Thanks a lot Crouse!

Re: Arch Linux Pens

Somehow it hurts me to look at that money ratio... Can't you make them +1$ = double the donation?

Or are more people here that would rather...
(a) not gladly buy the pen they want for 1$ more
...than...
(b) decide to search for a paypal donation button to just send the 1$ and get a pen made themselves, then not find a paypal button, post some confusing comment before remembering that they don't use pens anyway and how much work's to be done and spontaneous go wandering off without even ending the
