[Solved] Ultima Online ML client

Hello

I have just installed ArchLinux and I really like it. But I have got one problem with ultima online in wine. Everythink works fine except that when I type in my username and password, UO hangs on account veryfication. Strange is that there is no error message in wine and it worked properly in other distributions (debian 5.0 Lenny for example)
I tried latest version of wine and last stable and no luck.
Any ideas or suggestions please?

Thanks

Had the same problem.  It randomly started to work at some point and then stopped.  Hasn't worked since.

Had the same problem some 4 years ago.
I ended up playing it using VirtualBox.

Yes, Im playing UO in virtualbox now, I don't mind, I'm just wondering where can be problem if it is working in one distribution and not in another? Same hardware, same wine version, just distribution changed.

Re: [Solved] Ultima Online ML client

It seems that I solved this problem. I realized that this problem is with any version of Ultima online. All I did is that I set proper computer name in /etc/hosts except of local host.

For example:
127.0.0.1      Archlinux

And restarted system. Everything is working properly now and as I can see, Yoko Injection is working as well.
