Post install scripts

I have done some modifications on some daemons, it is only about 3 lines that run a little chain of scripts for my network and battery. The problem is that because the scripts for the network depends upon the daemon to be sucessufilly started - it runs other daemons that do not work if started before the network (to be specific, scrobby), and my network is started on the background because takes quite a while to authenticate - it needs to be in the network script, then when for some reason the initscripts are updated this line are deleted, and it takes quite a while for me to notice what happened - last time it was about a week, lol, as you can imagine it is not a major problem -, since then I've thinking of a solution, maybe a little script like yaourt or peharps a little pacman feature?

Re: Post install scripts

If you don't want to wait for that, you can start your network with netcfg and run your custom scripts using the POST_UP= profile option. pacman updates will never touch your netcfg profiles.

Re: Post install scripts

Yes, that is exactly what I was looking for. Is there anyway I can help?

@tomk : Thanks, I'm going use your idea for now.
