I installed Archlinux onto my Toshiba Satellite laptop. After it booted from harddrive, I could not find any HowTo or ReadMe about the Archlinux. I have to go to my other PC running Windows Vista to search the web. I remember playing with Linux From Scrach, I can use lynx to follow a book, while trying different things on other screens switched by Alt-F1/2/3/... and I think that is kind of convenient. Maybe Archlinux also has similar documents. Please help. Thanks.

See that link, next to "Forums"? The one that says "Wiki"? Click it, and then read the page you're sent to. Then, read the beginner's guide.

Thanks for the two replies. But they are not what I want.
I can read the beginner's guide now, on another PC with IE or Firforx set up properly, but not on my Archlinux system, which only have the very basic part installed. I haven't got its network configured yet.
I can read /arch/arch-linux-offical-guide.txt when I boot from the LiveCD but not on my Archlinux booted from harddrive.

Then copy it to the hard drive from the live CD so you can view it any time.

Thanks to dr0p. I will copy the file manually to my harddrive. Hope I can mount the LiveCD correctly.

Having some documents packaged an available by default on an Arch system is something that we want to do already for a while. (the implementation part doesn't progress fast though)

while installing you can switch back and forth to a different tty to read the documentation. It is mentioned in the install menu and/or newbie guide.

I had that issue when I started.
I booted off the LiveCD and mounted the my installation's /home/{user name}'s partition, then copied it over with the cp command.
It's something of a pain, but hey, till the Dev's copy over the guides and make them part of the install... it's what we have to do.
C'est la vie.
I keep getting distracted from my webserver project...
huh? oooh... shiny!

When I installed Arch there *was* an installation guide included.
